Partnership expands access to ASTM D5470 thermal interface material testing across North America

Fredericton, NB – C-Therm Technologies is excited to announce a new distribution partnership with Zentrum für Wärmemanagement (ZFW) from Stuttgart, Germany. ZFW has developed the world’s most precise device for testing thermal interface materials (TIMs) according to ASTM D5470.
Under the agreement, C-Therm will serve as the North American exclusive distribution partner for the ZFW TIM-Tester, providing local sales, application support, and after-sales service throughout the region.
The ZFW TIM Tester provides precise thermal interface material measurements under compression and expansion tests. Its optical gap measurement ensures high accuracy, reducing uncertainty from parasitic heat paths.
The ZFW TIM-Tester is designed for the characterization of thermal interface materials (TIMs) according to ASTM D5470. Its precise gap measurement supports determination of effective thermal conductivity, thermal resistance, and contact resistance.
