Fredericton, N.B.
C-Therm, the Fredericton tech firm, announced plans to grow its testing division and develop a suite of new products focused on the manufacturing of electric vehicles (EV). This future-focused expansion will help C-Therm carve out a larger share of the $287B global EV market currently and develop innovative technologies building on C-Therm’s 15 years of expertise in the thermal conductivity testing industry.
C-Therm expects to grow its team by eight new employees in the next three years and will require additional space for product development. This expansion represents a continuation of C-Therm’s impressive growth as the global leader in thermal conductivity testing instrumentation. In 2022, C-Therm delivered a record sales year, increasing profit by more than 20%, due to an early entry into the electric vehicle market with key clients. This success left the company looking for efficient, modern, and spacious facilities to accommodate the new work and new staff, so they are moving to a new space in Fredericton’s Knowledge Park.
“We are thrilled to be transitioning the team to Knowledge Park as we focus our growth on emerging cleantech markets, particularly electric vehicles. Our new space provides an open and professional environment that’s well-equipped to keep serving our clients like Intel and Lucid Motors,” said C-Therm CEO Adam Harris. “We are excited to be moving into a space that can grow with us.”
“Our products help companies keep their customers safe and comfortable,” continued Harris.
“Our specialized and technical products help clients succeed across many markets, including EV.”
Whether it is ensuring their textiles and materials feel appropriately cool or warm, or their automobile parts or electronics don’t overheat and cause a fire. Thermal conductivity and preventing overheating is particularly important in EV innovation.
Knowledge Park is Fredericton’s innovation district hub and high-tech cluster, providing quality space to many of the region’s technology companies. The C-Therm team is excited to align with like-minded, local businesses and capitalize on the larger and more easily configurable workspace, as well as the opportunity to expand further as needs materialize.
C-Therm’s new address is:
40 Crowther Lane – Suite 200
Fredericton, NB
