Poor thermal management generally results in weak product performance, reduction in product lifetime, and in some cases, poor PR and consumer confidence. To avoid these concerns, careful attention must be paid to thermal management in process and product design of electrical devices. Thermal conductivity is a key physical property in thermal management. Recently, increasing attention is being paid to thermal properties of materials which traditionally have not played a large role in thermal management of electronic devices owing to the increasing demand for miniaturization of electronic devices. This webinar reviews new innovative dielectric materials and methods for their characterization.
