C-Therm Technologies Ltd. is proud to support academic researchers in sharing their work on a global stage through its Academic Support Program.
As part of this initiative, Jonathan Mason, student at the University of South Alabama, was supported through a travel bursary to attend and present his research at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring 2026 National Meeting.

Jonathan Mason presenting his research using C-Therm’s Trident for Thermal Conductivity Measurements
Mason’s presentation, titled Thermal Conductivity Enhancement in Thiol-Ene Polymer Composites via Silicon Carbide Filler Incorporation, explored approaches to improving thermal performance in polymer systems using advanced filler materials. His work utilized C-Therm’s Trident Thermal Conductivity Instrument with the Modified Transient Plane Source (MTPS) sensor to generate reliable, high-quality data for his poster presentation at the conference.
The travel bursary provided through C-Therm’s Academic Support Program helped offset the cost of conference attendance, enabling Mason to present his findings, engage with peers, and contribute to ongoing discussions in materials research.
“We are thrilled to support and celebrate the accomplishments of these exceptional researchers,” said Adam Harris, CEO of C-Therm Technologies. “Their work exemplifies the innovation and dedication that drives the field of materials science forward.”
C-Therm’s Academic Support Program is designed to support students and researchers through financial assistance for thermal conductivity instrumentation, training resources, testing services, and costs associated with presenting their research.
